Saint Thomas the Apostle coloring page: July 3rd

June 27, 2013Coloring, July, Saints Coloring Standard

St. Thomas the Apostle is often remembered as “Doubting Thomas.” Thomas was one of the twelve Apostles called by Christ to follow Him. When Christ resurrected three days after his death, Thomas refused to believe that the other Apostles has actually seen the risen Christ. He declared that he would not believe in the resurrection until he saw Christ for himself and placed his hand in His wounds. When he encountered Christ several days later, he immediately believe, exclaiming, “My Lord and my God!” Thomas spent the rest of his life as a missionary, traveling as far as India. He died a martyr’s death when he was speared to death in India.
