Saint Cajetan coloring page: August 7th

August 3, 2013August, Coloring, Saints Coloring Standard

Cajetan grew up in the 16th century, when the Church was in great need of reformation. Wanting to help restore the Church, Cajetan became a priest and set to work. He founded two oratories and devoted his life to helping the sick and the poor. But Cajetan wanted to help people spiritually, not just physically. With a few other clergy, he founded an order dedicated to preaching and providing people with an example of holiness. Many people were converted through this new order. It is said that when Cajetan was dying, he stopped the doctor from moving him to a comfortable bed, saying, “”My savior died on a cross. Let me die on wood at least.”
