Saint Stanislaus coloring page: April 11th

February 20, 2013April, Saints Coloring Standard

St. Stanislaus was a priest and bishop in Poland. He was martyred for openly taking a stand against the evil actions of the king of Poland, Boleslaus II. The king ordered soldiers to kill Stanislaus. When they refused, the king killed the bishop himself. He then fled to an abbey, where he spent the remainder of his life.

Thank you for the wonderful coloring pages! Would love to see the Feast Day added to the pages. It would be helpful to the children to remember and celebrate these special days.

    Dear Liz,

Thank you for your comment. We are somewhat limited by the conflicting calendars of the Church (Old Rite and New Rite), but will take your suggestion into consideration. Thank you for visiting Catholic Playground!

    God bless,
    Gemma from Catholic Playground
