Saint Memory Match

Here is a great twist on memory using saints’ images and plastic cups!

To create this fun game to test your memory, you will need:


* saints’ images (click here for template or use your own pictures)
* cups -plastic cups work nicely because they are durable and the glue holds well.    Shaving cream lids or other similar plastic lids work great, too, and won’t need to be cut down
* scissors
* glue
First, we cut 48 plastic cups down to one inch high.

We decided to print enough images for 24 matching saints. You may choose to do more or less depending on how difficult you would like to make your game.
Then, we printed the images of the saints on photo paper. You can use regular printer paper or card stock as well.

Next we cut the images to fit inside the one inch cups…

…glued them to the inside of the cups,

flipped the cups upside down,

and the game is ready to play!

Variation: Instead of matching two like images of a saint, you could print an image of each saint along with an object that is associated with each. For example, you would match Saint Peter to a key, Saint Agnes to a lamb and so on.
