Saint Augustine coloring page: August 28th

For Augustine, the path to sainthood was not an easy one. Born in Africa, he spent much of his youth and adulthood living in sin and enjoying worldly pleasures. Augustine was incredibly intelligent and raised as a Christian, but he turned his back on the Faith. His conversion came about through the prayers of his mother, St. Monica, and the influence of St. Ambrose. Augustine was baptized and eventually became a bishop of the Catholic Church. His famous work Confessions is still read today. St. Augustine is also a doctor of the Church.
